Since it inception in 2005, the Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) has grown over a few short years into a major event currently attracting more than 85’000 visitors.
From September 22 until October 2, 2016, the Limmat city will once again become the focus of the film world as the ZFF screens the greatest discoveries of the year and international stars, film fans and experts gather in Zurich.
Ensuring cinematic entertainment for all age groups, the ZFF’s comprehensive programme spans a section for kids and school pupils, the 72 Talent Contest for the next generation of filmmakers, the International Film Music Competition for soundtrack fans, and a series of talks with international celebrities from the film world. Additionally, the ZFF Festival Centre, located at Zurich’s Bellevue square, is the venue for a multifaceted fringe programme with broad public appeal. The International Competition is divided into three categories and forms the heart of the festival.
The festival programme will be revealed during a press conference on September 8, 2016. Tickets will be available for purchase from the usual points of sale, at www.zff.com and www.starticket.ch from September 12.
